Code Green Networks Named Top Startup and Rated “Excellent” in Data Loss Prevention Product Reviews

Vendor Honored in InfoWorld’s “Month of Enterprise Startups”, and Product Receives Highest Ranking in Industry Reviews

SANTA CLARA, Calif., June 6, 2007 – Code Green Networks, a leading developer of data loss prevention solutions for protecting customer data and intellectual property, today announced that its award-winning data loss prevention solution, the Content Inspection Appliance, received an “A” rating in a product review from Information Security (Information Security, “Information Leakage” May 2007) and received the highest rating in InfoWorld’s recently released data loss prevention review (InfoWorld, “Get a grip on communications slips” April 12, 2007). Additionally, InfoWorld just named Code Green Networks a “2007 Rising Star” among enterprise startups.

According to the InfoWorld review, “Code Green Networks offers multiple reasons for its high score, including registering confidential structured and unstructured data, audit reports and forensic analysis, negligible impact on network performance, and easy administration.” Outperforming all other competitors’ products, the Content Inspection Appliance received an overall “excellent” rating and scored 9 out of 10 in categories including accuracy, ease-of-use, features and performance.

In its stand-alone review, Information Security stated, “The appliance ships with default policies and settings. We simply booted it up, attached it to a network tap and were monitoring traffic. We were impressed with the range of file types covered--390 according to Code Green--including all standard productivity software, such as Microsoft Office, Acrobat and WordPerfect, as well as other formats such as AutoCAD, Flash and .exe/.dll binary files.”
