Company Expands Partnership Portfolio to Meet Rising Demand for Preventing the Unauthorized Disclosure of Sensitive Information
SUNNYVALE, Calif. – March 1, 2006 – Code Green Networks, the only company delivering complete identification and protection of all enterprise content, today announced that it has signed a distribution agreement with Fuji Xerox to sell Code Green Networks’ Content Inspection (CI) Appliance™ in Japan. Like the United States and an ever-expanding list of countries, Japan is moving quickly to meet the challenges of protecting confidential information and to comply with national and international rules and regulations requiring strict reporting and record-keeping.
“As one of Japan’s premier document management solutions providers, Fuji Xerox is well positioned to bring our products to the Japanese market,” said Sreekanth Ravi, co-founder, chairman, president, and chief executive officer (CEO) of Code Green Networks. “We are very excited about this partnership and look forward to establishing a long-term relationship with Fuji Xerox. Their extensive reach within Japan’s leading companies and government organizations, paired with our expertise in content protection, provides a compelling joint solution to serve the needs of large enterprises.”
Code Green Networks extends security to protect confidential business information from unauthorized or accidental disclosure. The CI Appliance resides at the network gateway between a company’s secure network and the Internet. The appliance monitors and analyzes content flows on the corporate network and desktop PCs, and automatically enforces corporate content security policies.
Fuji Xerox offers a variety of document management and security systems, including an authentication solution for multifunction printing devices that prohibits copying by unauthorized users. The Code Green Networks’ solution adds an additional layer of content protection which automatically fingerprints sensitive documents and detects their transmission. The appliance is able to detect violations over any TCP-based protocol, including email, Web traffic, Instant Messaging (IM), FTP, or peer-to-peer file sharing. The solution supports more than 390 content formats in all languages across all leakage points.
